# Get a managed connection

**GET** `/api/embed/v1/accounts/{accountId}/connections/{connectionKey}`

Returns one connection you manage, by your key. Never a secret.

Needs a partner key: `Authorization: Bearer gre_…`, from [Platform › Partner keys](https://docs.gorunner.io/embed/platform-screens#partner-keys). Call it from your server only.

## Parameters

### Path

- `accountId` · Required · string: Your ID for the customer’s account: 1 to 255 bytes of UTF-8, case-sensitive. URL-encode it: it may contain `/`.
- `connectionKey` · Required · string: Your key for the connection: 1 to 255 bytes, unique in its workspace. URL-encode it.

### Query

- `workspaceId` · Optional · string: The workspace, by your ID. Left out: the default workspace.

## Responses

- 200 OK

  The connection.

- 400 `VALIDATION_ERROR`

  A parameter isn’t valid. `details.field` names it.

- 404 `NOT_FOUND`

  No such account, workspace or connection key.

- 500 `INTERNAL_ERROR`

  Something failed on the installation’s side. Try again.

- `data` · object: Never carries a secret.
  - `key` · string or null: The partner’s key; null for one the customer made.
  - `id` · UUID
  - `name` · string
  - `pieceId` · string
  - `status` · string: `expired`: its tokens can no longer be refreshed; replace them. One of `ok`, `error`, `expired`.
  - `managedBy` · string: One of `partner`, `customer`.
  - `workspace` · object
    - `id` · string or null: The partner’s workspace id; null for the default workspace.
    - `default` · boolean
  - `createdAt` · time
  - `updatedAt` · time
