# v2026.10.12

Connect an AI app, redesigned

Connecting an AI app takes one dialog: choose the app, the workspaces and what it may do. The organization switcher is new too.

## What changed

- One-click install links for Cursor, VS Code, Goose and LM Studio. They never carry a token. See [Connect an AI app](https://docs.gorunner.io/mcp/connect).
- What an AI app may do is capped by your role, and the server enforces it. See [Choose what an AI app may do](https://docs.gorunner.io/mcp/permissions).
- `GET /api/mcp/summary`. An AI app gets `build_workflow` only with write access. See [Build tools](https://docs.gorunner.io/mcp/build-tools).

## When you update

GoRunner’s image is private for now. With Docker, [sign in to the registry](https://docs.gorunner.io/self-host/install-docker#sign-in-to-the-registry) first. On Kubernetes, [sign Helm in and give the cluster its pull Secret](https://docs.gorunner.io/self-host/install-kubernetes#make-a-namespace). See [Update](https://docs.gorunner.io/self-host/update) for the whole procedure, or [Install with Docker](https://docs.gorunner.io/self-host/install-docker) and [Install on Kubernetes](https://docs.gorunner.io/self-host/install-kubernetes) to install this version anew.

**Docker**

```bash
# Check the image first: its Digest must be sha256:348c9a74b84a02fc67f1b40591ac84fb8c79a111b6c9aa797d703e17575cedc4
docker buildx imagetools inspect ghcr.io/ralve-org/gorunner-selfhost:v2026.10.12
# Update
./deploy.sh v2026.10.12
```

**Kubernetes**

```bash
helm upgrade gorunner oci://ghcr.io/ralve-org/charts/gorunner --version 2026.10.12 -f values.yaml
```
